Joaquin Phoenix is coming out clean. That is, he is now clean-looking with his beard shaved. However, he seems too fond of smoking to get cleaned off of it as he was seen puffing cigarettes again.
It was last Thursday when Joaquin was spotted smoking outside a vegan restaurant. It certainly wasn’t the first time he was seen taking a puff, and by the way it goes, it’s pretty clear that it’s not going to be the last. For his own sake though, he should really quit smoking.
For his works as a social activist and his efforts for animal welfare, Joaquin deserves a praise. Nonetheless, he should care more for his own well-being starting with quitting cigarettes.
Last 2006, Joaquin was in a car accident and he almost blew himself and his own car when he attempted to light a cigarette. Thanks to Werner Herzog, a renowned German director, who stopped him from lighting a stick and helped him out of the wreckage, he was not toasted. The incident should always remind of the many troubles smoking can bring him in.
We were so happy when Joaquin Phoenix shaved that gross beard, but now he’s grown something more disgusting. An addiction to smoking!
The actor was spotted taking a couple drags outside a vegan restaurant in El Lay on Thursday.
Sources say the actor was actually raised as a STRICT vegan because of his family’s belief against the abuse of animals.
We totally respect that choice, but wonder why somebody so against the abuse of animal’s bodies wouldn’t care about the abuse of his own?
