I ordered an electronic cigarette online from smokingeverywhere.com. I am currently trying to order Platinum cartridges that are legit and inexpensive. On the smokingeverywhere website the cartridges are expensive and I was wondering if anybody knew of different websites to order Platinum cartridges?

Your best bet would be to refill the ones you have.
Otherwise, I would check these forums vapersforum.com or e-cigarette-forum.com to identify the model you have and find a less expensive alternative for cartridges. I had the SE Gold which is an RN4081 so it was easy to find replacement parts from less expensive places. But at the very least, you can buy some e-liquid and refill the ones you have already. Chances are after you read some info and learn more about them, you’ll be buying a different e-cig soon. Like ALL of us who owned an SE anything. LOL

Just ordered an electronic cigarette to help me stop smoking and was wondering if it would set off a normal college dorm room detector or does the vapor just do nothing?

I have actually tested this. For most smoke detectors it will not. However some of the newer more sensitive smoke detectors will. I would recomend just blowing some vapor into it to see what happens. If it goes off it will not be known as to why since there is no oder. Also I beg to differ. I was a 11/2 pack per day smoker for 18 years. I now us ecigs only and made the transition over the weekend with no regrets and no looking back. I use the joye 510 which is the favorite for most vapers. I have been vaping for 3 years. I saw a video on TV about these electronic cigarettes that apparently don’t make any smoke, but still give you nicotene. Not sure how these works. Anyone care to explain?

Best advice I ever got was to check out some forums before you buy anything. Read some real user experiences and recommendations not just the hype from sales people. Of course I found out after I over paid for my first e-cig. Don’t let it happen to you. Learn about your options first.

I’m kind of iffy about it because it should be a lot more popular than it is. An electronic cigarette that gives you the same feel of smoking without the harmful side effects? That’s genius. You’d think something like that would take the place of regular cigarettes in a heartbeat. So I’m really skeptical about it; I think it’s a scam but I hope not. It’s really expensive so I want to get some feedback from someone who is familiar with it.

I first heard about, and purchased, my first electronic cigarette last July. I was smoking one pack of cigarettes a day and had been for 25 years. I had tried several times to quit but my nerves couldn’t handle it. The electronic cigarette I purchased, after a lot of research, is the Joye 510. I have not smoked a regular cigarette since I tried my first electronic one. I am still addicted to nicotine and, although I have tried, I have not been able to leave the nicotine out. I use the electronic one a lot less though. I no longer have to take my 10 minute breaks at work…I can go a full 4 hours with no nicotine!
I LOVE:
no dirty ash trays all over the house.
no smell of cigarette smoke on my clothes, breath or house.
no brown residue on my car windows.
no moments of panic that the stores are closed and I have only 1 cigarette left.
I am not harming the health of those around me.
It costs me about $40. per month for supplies..versus…$150 for tobacco cigarettes.

I live in the USA and I was wondering where to buy electronic cigarette in the USA. I heard that there was a import ban on electronic cigarettes so is there somewhere special I need to go to find out where to buy electronic cigarette in the USA?

We want to bring an electronic cigarette. It does not use tobacco, but nicotine solution, which is vaporized. The vapor produced not does linger, and does not smell, except when smelled coming out of the persons mouth. Do you think we would be allowed to bring this in? It has no adverse health effects as far as studies have shown, and it can’t be used to do weed so that isn’t an issue.

I’m gonna have to be the bad guy here and say do it anyway.

Try to buy them online. Yahoo shopping, & Amazon.com carry them & other brands the last time I checked. Or, just search for the "e cigarette" blogs & forums for recommendations depending on your tastes.
