Is it possible to light a cigarette using any of these?

Ok I got no lighter, matches, toaster, oven of any kind and I can’t leave the building. Can I use in any way:

Microwave
Radiator
Coffee Machine
Electric Kettle
I guess phone, computer and fridge are out of the question

Actually the computer is the best bet here, if you have a light up system and are prepared to destroy it, ( the light up part, I mean, not the computer, ) should you have a multiple connector for equipment, that can be plugged in (usually a unit for a joystick/printer, etc will do the job), then you need to take the light part, and slowly crush the class covering, blow away the bits and then plug it in, and switch it on, and you will get a few seconds of heat from the bulb part that is high enough to light a cigarrette, you can do the same thing with a fridge light, but the amparage ie much higher, any bulb in the house can be crushed or broken, if you are that desperate, just do not break the filament You could just sell your excess equipment and buy a lighter of course………

Possibly kettle if you switch it on with no water in and the element gets really hot,, but most kettles have a cutout to stop his happening .

How about putting a scrunched up piece of paper in the microwave till it catches light? you could wet one half of the paper so you don’t blow yourself up!! Radiator…no! coffee machine…no and kettle…ha ha NO!
    good luck!

You cant use a radiator however if you really ARE that desperate then you could create an electric fire by cutting the wiring of any of the appliances that have plugs. Pretty dangerous though i wouldnt reccomend.

The only possible way is the microwave in which anything heated for long enough will burst into flame. The kettle and coffee machine would fuse before getting hot enough and the other suggestions are just ridiculous, and if you cut the wires as was suggested elsewhere to start an electric fire the fuse or contact breaker would kill the power.

No to all of those. But if you’re really desperate and the sun’s shining you could use a magnifying glass or someone’s spectacles to focus the rays.
Best to just give it up though.

Microwave – it is possible to heat it and heat it until it gets hot enough to burn when you open the door, but I think the microwave will have a heat sensor to cut the power if it gets too hot inside

Radiator – A central heating one (with hot water in) then no. An electric radiator if you take the cover off and use the elements then yes

Coffee Machine – No unless it is faulty

Electric Kettle – No, unless it is faulty

Phone, Computer or fridge are all no as well, unless thy have a fault

A stove, a hot plate, the heating element in a conventional oven. I’ve used all three at home, when I couldn’t find my lighter, or if my lighter quit.
